Life expectancy is good. But modern people are too focused on living longer. I would say they are obsessed with living as long as possible. I personally think that it is not just the length of life, but also quality of life which is important. These two things are not necessarily the same.

Whatever you say. In any case everyone wants to live longer, as long as possible. Living healthy for as long as possible is even better. In general the same things that make us live longer make us healthier as well: more exercise, better diet, meditation, etc.

Proper name for this calculator should be: disable after sixty, hanging on till eighty. That`s a better description of the situation. Average life expectancy is about 80. However, most people are disabled in one way or another after 60. It`s in North America. I believe in Japan the situation is different. There people live longer and healthier lives. The corresponding numbers are 85 and 80, if I am not mistaken.
