This song sends shivers down my spine every time I hear it... every time. She's so good! Oh, my - she is a genius. It's better than any therapy.

Recently I was reading about this song on the internet. I found that different people have different feelings about this song. Some people really like it - some don't. I think it has a lot to do with personal experiences of people. One message that I have found under this link (http://www.songfacts.com/detail.php?id=5176) explains it all: “I really enjoy this song. This is actually one of my favorites by her. I can relate to how she feels. I know what it is like to have your mom lean on you for comfort and your dad never being around. I think that a lot of teens and even adults can relate to the way that she feels. – Nikki, Wooster, OH”. This song is so powerful because Kelly sings it from the bottom of her heart. She is a genius… and she has so much courage.

She is a genius… She is also probably deeply hurting inside. I think creative people (geniuses) in general are rather unhappy. Despite their successes they are usually unhappy and often desperate. I think this is because they are very sensitive and life hits them hard. Look at the alcohol, drugs and mental illnesses that seem so often to be a problem for celebrities. On the other hand because they express themselves – maybe they are hurting less. I think “ordinary” people who do not let their pain out are screaming silently inside…
