Vitamin pills a 'waste of money'
Taking vitamins to protect against disease is a waste of time and money, according to a report.

Galen needs to educate him/herself much better. Low quality vitamins are a waste of money, where as high quality vitamins/minerals are very helpful in combating oxidative stress, which is probably the root cause to most diseases.

Thank you for your thoughts, Fxmassage. Nobody disputes that vitamins and minerals are vital. The questions are if the artificial supplements are 1) useful 2) worth the money. I am not aware of any good evidence that it is better to spend money on buying (expensive) supplements of vitamins and minerals versus buying more nutritious foods (or a gym membership) for example. Can you share some exciting findings that you are familiar with to help with my education on the subject? Just a caution, I do not value much evidence coming from vitamin making companies because they are hardly impartial in this situation.
